I have had the joy of driving this vehicle for almost 8 years now. Overall, the vehicle has been very reliable. I have travelled approximately 200,000 km during this time. In the first year, the car did experience some growing pains and had a number of mechanical problems. However, since that date, the main issues I have noted are: (1) Corrosion - vehicle is rustproofed annually, however, paint easily peals off from the exterior, and interior door handles and chips very easily leading to rust. The aluminum rims are also poorly made. (2) Radio - replaced 7 radios in this vehicle, to which, Hyundai has noted there have been a number of issues (3) Brakes - the brakes and usually the rotors have to be replaced every 30k kms. I have replaced them 5 times so far, with the last being aftermarket and am much more satisfied now. The vehicle itself is a pleasure to drive, very quiet on the highway and reasonable gas consumption. The heated leather seats work very well and are also comfortable on long drives. The brakes is a sore spot as not only do they have to be replaced, they suffer from terrible brake fade. All it takes is one hard stop and they do not work well after this point until they cool. Finally, should there be any problems it is very cheap to fix. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely consider another Hyundai if they have improved the paint quality and the brake issues.
